You’re Mer-tastic with Finned Friends

We are rolling out the seaweed carpet today for Danni Bindel and this beautiful mermaid card! Danni featured our Finned Friends 4x6 Stamp Set with the For the Gentlemen 6x6 Paper Pack, creating a warm and cheerful ocean-inspired card with playful patterned paper layers, sweet mermaid friends, and the perfect “You’re mer-tastic!” sentiment. We love how she used the bold yellow and orange tones to give this underwater design such a bright, happy feel.

Hello crafty friends! Danni back today with another mermaid card for MerMay! Don't forget you can find all the Crafty Stamp Co. mermaid themed items in the Mermaid Section at the store!

For today's card I used the Finned Friends Stamp Set. I also used the For The Gentleman 6x6 Paper Pad. Just because the theme is mermaids doesn't mean you can't use fun papers besides mermaid themed ones.

I had fun coloring up the mermaid/merman with Koil fish inspired patterns. Such an easy technique by just putting some spots down with a darker color and then pulling it out with a lighter color. 

I made this card a mini slimline card for a little interest. It measures 3 1/2 inches by 6 inches. A fun size to create with.

After coloring and fussy cutting the images out the card went together quickly with dies from my stash. I adore the sentiment, You're Mer-tastic! I think it will bring a smile to anyone!
