You Make My Day Egg-stra Sweet | Bunny Tate Easter Card
We’re hopping into today’s post with our very own Cristena and the sweetest little Bunny Tate you ever did see. This pastel-perfect card is sprinkled with texture, pattern, and just the right amount of sparkle—plus it was inspired by Meadow and her long-time wish for a bunny onesie. Grab your favorite Copics and a cup of something cozy, because this one is pure egg-stra cuteness from top to bottom.

Hey hey heeeeey crafty friends! When I sat down to create this card, I kept picturing Meadow in a pink bunny onesie—she has wanted one forever—so of course Tate had to dress up for Easter too!
I started with the Positive Tate’s A Little Egg-stra 4x6 Stamp Set and stamped the sweet bunny Tate holding his Easter egg. I kept the coloring soft and sugary with my Copic markers.
Once he was colored and fussy cut, I built the background around him. For the main panel I used the Birthday Brights 6x6 Pattern Paper—the fun squiggle pattern feels like party streamers and matches the playful Easter vibe perfectly. Behind that, I layered some Bazzill textured cardstock for added dimension (I’ll list the exact color names in the supply list), and tucked in a soft yellow fishtail banner tied with a bit of twine for that extra sweet, handmade touch.
The white background is where the subtle details really shine. I ran it through with the Bunny Treats 6x6 Stencil to create an embossed bunny silhouette pattern—tone-on-tone, but full of texture. It lets Bunny Tate be the star while still giving the card a fun, tactile feel when you hold it in your hands.
Because I’ve been loving our Crafty Stamp Co. March Sketch Challenge, I followed the sketch but gave it a little twist—literally—by using a circle as my top focal layer instead of a square. It still hits all the sketch points, just with a softer, round shape that frames Tate perfectly.
To finish everything off, I stamped the sentiment “You make my day egg-stra sweet” and layered it over another piece of textured cardstock for a clean, grounded strip at the bottom. A few pastel enamel dots scattered around the design tie in the colors from the patterned paper and add that final bit of shine.
