Wishing You a Purrrfect Day with Time to Pawwty

We are rolling out the Crafty Crew red carpet today for Shilo Miles and this adorable birthday card! Shilo featured our Pawwty Time 4x6 Stamp Set with the Birthday Brights 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack to create a playful shaker-style design full of bright color, sweet party details, and the cutest celebrating kitties. From the stitched accents and tiny banner flags to the fun balloon and “Pawwty” flag, this card is bursting with birthday cheer.

To start my card, I first choice some fun papers from the Birthday Brights paper pack. I like to color to match my papers…so this gave me my color palette. I then stamped out these little party animals and colored them with my Copics. One of my favorite things to do with any balloon is add some glossy accents. I love how it gives that extra bit of shine and “realism” to my cards.

I decided on the layout of my card…and it was just what you see! BUT when I started I had ZERO intentions of this being a shaker card. Once I got playing with everything it became obvious to me that confetti was a MUST! And so…confetti was added – this circle was really perfect to make this into a shaker…almost like I was planning it the whole time! Heheh These two kitties are now really ready to shake up the pawwty (don’t you love how the orange tabby has to stop for a bath break…randomly…in the middle of it all…in true cat style? LOL)!
