VIDEO: Let’s Celebrate with Shilo Miles

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Shilo Miles and this bright, playful camping birthday card featuring our Campin' Critters 4x6 Stamp Set, Ma Heifers 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack, and Party Like A Panda 4x6 Stamp Set. We love how Shilo paired the camping scene with the bold sentiment for a fun card that shows such creative, outside-the-box product mixing. This project is such a fun example of how combining different stamp sets and patterned paper can create a handmade birthday card full of charm and adventure. Here’s what Shilo had to say about the project.

Hello lovelies! This is Shilo! Today’s card is featuring the Campfire Critters stamp set with the Ma Heifers Paper Pack from Crafty Stamp Co. What a combo, eh?! But it works! Don’t be shy to pull out those themes paper packs and use them outside of their intention. Check out my card today as proof this is very doable - not a cow or farm in site !

I created my camping scene around a large word sentiment. I used one of the papers as my background and the sentiment, while covering the majority of the paper, still allows you to see enough of the paper to understand there are some trees and bushes there. This was the perfect base to add my little tenting bear. My stamped elements were all colored with copic markers and then fussy cut out. I added a smaller sentiment to the large one to make it clear we were celebrating a birthday – but this could be left out or switched out.

For the final touches I added glossy to the lettering and some little hearts all around. I think this is the perfect little card for someone who loves to camp!
