Tutorial - Paint Your Dreams with Crafty Mice | Deborah Hellman for Crafty Stamp Co.

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Crafty Crew designer Deborah (@hellmad) and her bright, bold “paint your dreams” card featuring our Crafty Mice 4x6 Stamp Set and Gingerbread Christmas 6x6 Pattern Paper. The vibrant red frame, sparkly blue panels, and trio of creative little mice feel like a mini comic strip of crafty adventures, all wrapped up on one card front. If you love character cards, fun scenes, and pops of color that really stand out in the mail, this one is sure to spark ideas for your next crafty session.

Hi everyone! Deborah here and I’m excited to share with you my adorable Crafty Mice 4x6 Stamp Set encouragement card! I just love these super crafty mice. This wonderful stamp set includes three cute mice stamps, one "Handmade with Love by" stamp, three sentiments, and one paint spot.

To create this card, I first selected my paper and color palette. The patterned paper that I selected came from the Gingerbread Christmas 6x6 Patterned Paper. When looking for paper and colors for your cardmaking, don't overlook holiday and seasonal papers. Many of them can be used year-round!

Once I had my paper and colors, I used a background die from my stash to create a fun layout.

Then, I stamped my mice and sentiment on white cardstock and colored them with alcohol ink markers using a fun color palette including reds, blues, and tans to coordinate with my paper. I cut them out using my ScanNCut.

Next, I attached my background, images, and sentiment to my A2 cardbase. I used dimensional adhesive tape to elevate and add interest to my focal images.
