Time to Relax with the New Arrival Elephants
Hi crafty friends, welcome back to the blog. Today, I am sharing a card I created using the New Arrival Elephants stamp set. I really wanted to use the image of the elephant sleeping as I thought it paired so well with the sentiment from the Bunny Trails stamp set.
I first stamped out my image and used Copic Markers to color the adorable elephant. I then fussy cut the elephant out and set it to the side to work on my background.
I took an A2 panel and first blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide. I made sure to cover the entire panel.
I then took the Lovely Roses stencil and used smaller daubers to blend on Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides.
I took another A2 panel and trimmed off the bottom fourth of the panel. I placed it ontop of my background and added the elephant so I could see where I wanted to stamp the sentiment.
I then stamped the sentiment directly onto the piece using black ink.
To complete the card, I adhered the bottom piece using liquid adhesive and then added the elephant using foam tape.
