From the unexpected purple + pink ombré backdrop to the adorable chef gnomes perched atop cupcakes, this Valentine makes an extra-sweet statement for your favorite “gnomie.” Now let’s take a closer look at how Randy brought this festive treat to life.

Hello crafty friends, welcome back to the blog. I have been working on lots of Valentine's Day creations, and I had to make sure to create a card using the super sweet gnomes from the Gnomie Cupcakes stamp set

I first stamped out my images and then fussy cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color them.

I took an A2 panel and then ink blended it with Lumberjack Plaid, Abandoned Coral, and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides. I took the Popcorn Stencil and ink blended it with Lumberjack Plaid and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxides onto the panel.

I then die cut a heart out of the panel using a heart die that I had in my stash. I took another A2 panel and ink blended it with Seedless Preserves and Villainous Potion Distress Oxides.

I then splattered both panels with white watercolor. I adhered them together using adhesive tape.

With the sentiment, I heat embossed it onto green cardstock using Embossing Ink and white embossing powder. I then adhered it to the panel using foam tape.

I completed the card by adding my two images using foam tape.
