Sweet as Honey Card Tutorial by Deborah Hellman
Today we’re rolling out the crafty red carpet for Deborah Hellman and this absolutely adorable bee-themed card! From the sunny yellow background to the sweet little bear bees and that gorgeous honey jar focal image, this project is full of cheerful charm and beautiful detail.
Deborah paired the Bees & Honey Stamp Set with the Honeycomb Bits Stencil and Buzy Buzzin Pattern Paper to create a handmade card that feels bright, playful, and full of sweetness. And can we just take a moment for the coloring on that honey jar? Those soft folds and ruffles are so beautifully done. If you love cute critters, happy colors, and cards that make you smile, this one is a must-see.
Here’s what Deborah had to say about her lovely tutorial.

Next, I stamped my images and sentiment on white cardstock and cut them out using my ScanNCut. I also cut out a few hexagonal shapes from my patterned paper to continue the bee theme.

I let my paper colors guide my coloring choices. I colored them with the Copic alcohol ink markers shown in the photos.

Once everything is colored, I attach my background, images, and sentiment to my A2 card base. I like to use dimensional adhesive tape to elevate and add a little interest to my focal images.
