Stitched Whiskers Card Inspiration with Deborah Hellman

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Deborah Hellman and this sweet, stitched kitty card featuring our Stitched Whiskers 4x6 Stamp Set and Chocolate Roses 6x6" Pattern Paper Pack. We love how Deborah paired the adorable sewing kitties with soft pink layers, bright aqua accents, and pretty patterned paper details. This project is such a lovely example of how stamped images, patterned paper, and stitched-inspired elements can come together to create a handmade card full of crafty charm.

Hi everyone! Deborah here and I’m super excited to share with you an adorable kitten A2 card that I created using the new Stitched Wiskers 4x6" Stamp Set. This set includes 6 image stamps and 4 sentiment stamp options. I also used the Chocolate Roses 6x6" Pattern Paper Pack which is a perfect pairing for this card. I just love this rose, blue, and light brown combination and thought it would work well for my sweet kitten themed card.

After stamping and cutting out my images on white cardstock, I selected my patterned paper.

I prefer to select my paper first so that I can select alcohol ink markers that coordinate with my papers.

Once my images were colored, I decided to cut out some banners from my patterned paper to add interest. Next, I assembled and attached the cut cardstock and sentiment. I also added adhesive tape foam behind my focal images and sentiment for some added dimension. At the end, I also added a stamped button from the set to add more interest and to help draw your eye around the entire card.
