Stitched Together with Deborah Hellman

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Deborah Hellman and this soft, sweet stitched friendship card featuring our Stitched with Love Meadow 4x6 Stamp Set and Spring is in the Air Pattern Paper Pack. We love how Deborah paired the sweet Meadow image with delicate floral paper, soft pink layers, and thoughtful stitched-inspired details. This project is such a lovely example of how patterned paper, stamped images, and gentle embellishments can come together to create a handmade card full of warmth and encouragement.

Hi everyone! Deborah here and I’m super excited to share with you an adorable A2 card that I created using the new Stitched with Love Meadow 4x6" Stamp Set. This set includes 5 image stamps and 2 sentiment stamp options. I also used the Spring is in the Air 6x6" Pattern Paper Pack which is a perfect pairing for this card. I just love this soft pink and green combination and thought it would work well for my stitched/quilted theme card.

After stamping and cutting out my images on white cardstock, I selected my patterned paper. 

I prefer to select my paper first so that I can select alcohol ink markers that coordinate with my papers.

Once my images were colored, I decided to cut out some shapes from my patterned paper to add interest. Next, I assembled and attached the cut cardstock and sentiment. I also added adhesive tape foam behind my larger colored images for some added dimension. At the end, I also added a few die cut flowers to add more interest and to help draw your eye around the entire card.
