Spring Smiles with Positive Tate a Little Egg-stra Video Tutorial
Today we’re rolling out the crafty red carpet for a bright and happy spring card featuring our sweet Positive Tate a Little Egg-stra Stamp Set. This cheerful design was inspired by the March 2026 Crafty Stamp Co. Sketch Challenge, with a fun little twist to make the sketch my own.
Cristena paired Birthday Brights Pattern Paper with the Spring Breeze Stencil and added a soft scene using a hand-cut stencil she created and named Clouds and Hills — one she is hoping to turn into an official stencil later on. Between the pastel eggs, the soft sky, and that sweet springtime sentiment, this card came together with all the fresh and happy vibes of the season.
Here is what Cristena had to say about the card:
Hey hey heeeyy crafty friends! Cristena here and for this card, I started with the March 2026 Crafty Stamp Co. Sketch Challenge as my inspiration. I really loved the layout and used it as my jumping-off point while adding my own little spin along the way.

I chose Positive Tate a Little Egg-stra for the focal images because he is just too cute for spring, and I paired him with the Birthday Brights Pattern Paper for a soft, playful layer underneath. I love how the tiny loops in the paper add a little extra movement without taking away from the stamped images.
To build my scene, I used a hand-cut stencil that I made myself and named Clouds and Hills. I used it to create the soft clouded sky and grassy hill, which gave the card a gentle spring backdrop. I’m hoping to make this stencil into an official product later on because I ended up loving the look so much.

For the images, I used Positive Tate a Little Egg-stra along with the wagon of eggs and bunny image to create a sweet little spring scene. Everything was colored to keep the palette soft, pastel, and happy. I layered the scene over stitched panels and finished the card with the Sending Springtime Smiles sentiment.

This card was such a fun way to play with the sketch challenge while also testing out a new stencil design idea. I always love when a card starts with one idea and turns into inspiration for something more.
