Sepia Travel Vibes featuring Toad Trip with Meadow

Today we are rolling out the crafty red carpet for Meadow and this absolutely charming vintage-inspired card! We love seeing our team take a playful stamp set in an unexpected direction, and Meadow did just that with this warm sepia-toned design featuring the Toad Trip 4x6 Stamp Set, Adventure Awaits 6x6 Pattern Paper, and Around the World 6x6 Stencil. The soft distressed shading, layered travel elements, and sweet froggy images all come together in such a creative way.

Hey crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a card that was a little different from my usual style, and I had so much fun making it! For this card I used the Toad Trip 4x6 Stamp Set, Adventure Awaits 6x6 Pattern Paper, and the Around the World 6x6 Stencil from Crafty Stamp Co.

 

What made this card extra fun for me was doing the whole thing in sepia tones. I wanted it to feel a little vintage, almost like an old travel postcard or a treasured photo from a favorite adventure. To help create that look, I used Gathered Twigs Distress Ink over the Adventure Awaits pattern paper to soften the colors and turn everything into those warm brown vintage shades.

 

 

I also used the Around the World stencil to add even more travel-themed details in the background. I love how the airplane and skyline shapes help tell the story without taking away from the cute little froggy images from Toad Trip. The frog with the map and the airplane were just too perfect for this design!

 

 

One of my favorite parts of this card is how everything works together to create a soft, dreamy travel theme. Even though the images are adorable and playful, the sepia coloring gives the whole card a totally different feel. It is always fun to take a stamp set in a direction you might not expect.

 

The sentiment “Find Joy in the Journey” felt like the perfect finishing touch. It matches the travel theme so well, and it is such a lovely little reminder too.
