Sending Harbor Hugs with Deborah Hellman
Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Deborah Hellman and this bright, playful harbor card featuring our November 2026 Crafty Crew Kit, Little Sailor Meadow 4x6 Stamp Set, Harbor Friends 4x6 Stamp Set, and Nature’s Beauty 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack. We love how Deborah created a cheerful underwater-inspired scene with sweet harbor friends, bold blue layers, and ocean-themed patterned paper. This project is such a fun example of how stamped images, patterned paper, and layered die cuts can come together to create a handmade card full of coastal charm. Here’s what Deborah had to say about the project.
Hello fellow cardmakers! Deborah here and I’m super excited to share with you an adorable A2 card that I created using the Little Sailor Meadow Stamp Set, Harbor Friends Stamp Set, and Nature's Beauty Patterned Paper from the November Crafty Crew Kit. The Little Sailor Meadow Stamp Set includes 6 image stamps and 2 sentiment stamp options. The Harbor Friends Stamp Set includes 6 images and 4 sentiments. This will be the last kit, so you don't want to miss it.

I always like to select my paper first so that I can coordinate my ink and cardstock colors. The Nature's Beauty Patterned Paper Pack has lots of gorgeous papers to choose. After selecting my paper, I found a water-related frame die in my stash that I wanted to use to create a background. For the blue layer, I started with a piece of light blue cardstock and then added some darker blue ink around the edges. I then added some white spatter for a bubble effect.

Next, I stamped and colored my figures and arranged them on my A2 card. All of the images are sooo cute. I finished the card by adding a sentiment from the stamp set and mounting it to a conversation bubble die-cut.
