Positive Tate's Ocean Adventures with Deborah

Hello all, Crafty Crew Member Deborah Hellman here to share with you another fun shaker card using the Positive Tate's Ocean Adventures Stamp Set and the Bubbles Stencil from the Crafty Stamp Co. The Positive Tate’s Ocean Adventures Stamp Set includes four tater figure stamps and four sentiment options. They are all super adorable.

For this shaker card, I wanted to use the diving tater, so I selected blue-green, pink, and yellow colors to represent my water and bubbles. I then coordinated my cardstock, markers, and ink colors.  Next, I stamped and fussy cut the diving tater.  I then stamped and die-cut the sentiment. 

After coloring my diving tater with alcohol ink markers, I stenciled the background using both the Bubbles Stencil and blending inks. I purposely let the pink, yellow, and blue blending inks overlap and blend to help my bubbles to have a rainbow/prism effect. Next, I arranged all of my components on my card to make sure I liked the layout before gluing. I selected some shaker bits that matched my colors and then assembled everything.  I added foam adhesive under my top layer making sure that I completely enclosed the shaker bits so they can’t fall out and to allow them enough room to move. I finished the card by adding a few additional shaker bits on top.
