Positive Tate's Halloween Scare with Megan

Hey all! Megan with the design team here back with a bit more Halloween inspiration. This card features the Boo Bash 6" x 6" pattern paper and Positive Tate's Halloween Scare.

This is a 5" x 5" square card! I haven't made a square card in ages and thought it would make a great layout to feature these adorable potatoes.

I used stitched rectangles from my stash in 3 sizes to create this layered background. The Boo Bash pattern paper features a color scheme that I adore and is perfect for this style layout. I added a purple mat layer using a piece of watercolor style paper from the paper pack to help the squares pop.

To give the card more depth, I mixed up some of the squares or the potato with foam tape, if I popped up the potato I did not pop up the square and vice versa.

The potatoes are colored with Copic Markers, I had a lot of fun adding little dots in various shades of brown to the potatoes. Some dots were added over the drawn lines and some were added in areas that had no drawn lines. There was no rhyme or reason, I just put the dots where it feels right. Anyone else love stippling as much as I do?
