Party Time Meadow with Sharon

Good morning!!! Sharon here with a nice bright card using this little lady.
Party Meadow is all ready to party she has ice cream and cake what more could she need - a cute little party dress to match.

After coloring my images brightly I always use a black fine liner to color the white edges this makes them stand out against any background and gives dimension.

Now to build my card, I chose colors to complement her outfit with some plain purple cardstock and this gorgeous bright patterned paper.

These were diecut to fit on my A2 cardbase. It may be hard to see in photo but the patterned paper had stitched edging.
I needed more detail on my card so chose the paper with stars and cut 3 coordinating stars

All of these were glued flat on my card making sure I had room for Meadow.
She was added using foam squares to make her stand out from my card.

Finally my card needed a sentiment, I stamped 'eat cake and be happy' and cut this into a ribbon shape. This was added to the top corner 

finally I added a couple of gems, one to look like the pin holding the sentiment in place and another in the center of her hair bow.
