Party Time Meadow with Deborah

Hello all, Crafty Crew Member Deborah Hellman here to share with you another card featuring the Party Time Meadow Stamp Set from the new August Release. This fun stamp set includes five image stamps and four sentiment options. It's perfect for creating birthday cards.

For this card, I wanted to pair Meadow with paper from the Watercolor Birthday Pattern Paper Pack. The colors are so bright and fresh... such a happy color palette! I specifically wanted to highlight the bright blue, purple, and pink. 

Next, I selected some coordinating solid cardstock and considered my layout. I wanted my large shape to be off-set and instead of putting a die cut on top of my background, I decided to have a negative opening into my background. Changing up a couple of design elements, helps to make your card more unique and memorable.

Once my sentiments were stamped and my background cut, it was time to select my marker colors, stamp and cut my images, and begin coloring.

After coloring my images, I arranged all of my components on my card to make sure I liked the layout before gluing. I added foam adhesive under my top layer to give my card some dimension and highlight the cut out shape. I finished the card by adding a few enamel dots for a little extra detail.
