Panda-Stic Birthday Wishes with Danni Bindel

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Danni Bindel and this bright and cheerful birthday card featuring our Party Like a Panda 4x6 Stamp Set and Birthday Brights 6x6 Pattern Paper. We love how Danni layered the colorful birthday papers behind the sweet panda focal image for a card that feels playful and festive. This project is such a fun example of how patterned paper, simple layering, and a cute stamped image can come together to create a handmade birthday card full of happy charm.

Hello crafty friends!

I had a friend request several cards using pandas so I immediately thought of the Crafty Stamp Co. set, Party Like a Panda! It is such a darling set and I'm sure I'll use it several times for my friends cards.

I used the Inspired By The Sketch Book to help with the layout and chose Sketch #7. I grabbed out the Birthday Brights 6x6 Paper Pad to go with my cute panda!

I colored the panda with Copics and might have been smiling the whole time I was coloring because I just can't get over the cuteness!!

 

Copics Used:

• Ground/Shadow: W4, W2, BG02, B0000
• Panda: C8, C6, R20, YG17, YG13
• Balloons: Y17, Y15,YR07, YR04, R85, R83, BG75, BG72
• white gel pen highlights
  

After coloring it was just a matter of putting all the layers together. Some layers are on foam adhesive to give the card a little dimension. The final step was to emboss the sentiment and get it on the card.
