Nutcracker Trio with Sharon | Festive Easel Christmas Card

Nutcracker Trio with Sharon | Festive Easel Christmas Card

Today we’re thrilled to feature a festive Christmas project from Sharon, using our Nutcracker Guardian stamp set paired with the Season of Giving patterned paper. This easel card has a classic holiday feel — bold reds, vintage toy soldier charm, and a layout that’s perfect for displaying as holiday décor. 🎄✨

Rather than describe all the clever details ourselves, we’ll let Sharon share her inspiration behind this nutcracker trio.

Hi everyone! This is Sharon and I’m excited to share my project with you today! These regal looking nutcrackers all are standing tall & straight ready for a cracking Christmas. I've not made an easel card in forever but these guys called to me!

Easel's are so easy to design, you just fold the top of your card base in half then use a stopper (my sentiment) to hold the folded section in place. I always use a scoreboard to fold my cards as it gives a crisp clean fold.
I matted my base with green cardstock and pattern papers. each the folded pieces are matted separating so the back of the easel looks neat.
I base of the easel fully is matted. I added the Ho Ho Ho papers to give more detail to the striped papers and for something for my Nutcrackers to stand on!
The sentiment is added with foam squares to give it a lift to hold the top in place.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and spending a little time with us! We hope you’ll check back throughout the month for more design team inspiration.
