Nutcracker Gift Tag with Megan | A Festive Handmade Holiday Touch

Today we’re spotlighting a fun and festive holiday project from Megan, featuring our Nutcracker Guardian stamp set and Season of Giving 6x6 Pattern Paper. This handmade gift tag adds a charming personal touch to holiday wrapping — combining bold Christmas colors, layered details, and a classic nutcracker image perfect for the season. 🎄✨

Hey friends, Megan with the design team here sharing a bright and a sweet Christmas tag featuring Nutcracker Guardians from the November Crafty Stamp Co release. I paired this stunning nutcracker with the Season of Giving 6x6 Pattern Paper to make the perfect layered background. And let's not forget the sentiment from the Here Comes Stanta stamp set!

I decided to go with a more classic color combo for this Nutcracker and used blue and red Copic combos to color him along with a yellow orange hair combo. I used gold glitter pen to fill in his belt, buttons, and portions of the crown. It is such a small detail that makes a big impact in person. 
I picked out 3 pieces of the coordinating pattern paper from the Season of Giving paper pack. I cut a rectangle to fit inside the fancy die cut border. Since the nutcracker has a bit of a light red hue, I decided to cut the fancy die cut border in a light red color. I love the Christmas lights paper and just knew I wanted to add it to this tag. It made the perfect layer between the green and red striped paper. 

I finished off this tag by adding the DEC 25th sentiment from the Here Comes Santa stamp set. I gave it a gold frame with my glitter pen to tie in it with the nutcracker. And to bring the tag together I added a gold glitter ribbon. I think the gold accents were the perfect addition to create a balanced project.
