Love You, Tater Style | A Sweet Valentine with Randy
Today we’re welcoming Randy back to the blog with an absolutely adorable Valentine featuring Positive Tates Love Notes. This time, Tate is all dressed up for love—perched on a little bench with a heart balloon in hand and a mailbox full of hugs and kisses.
If you love soft ink-blended backgrounds, clean layouts, and charming details (like those bold die cut letters spelling “LOVE YOU”), Randy’s card is sure to make you smile. He’ll walk you through how he built this sweet scene step by step in the tutorial below, so grab your favorite drink and enjoy a little crafty inspiration.
Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, welcome back to the blog. We are just less than a week away from Valentine's Day and the inspiration isn't stopping just yet. I have an additional card that features the new Positive Tate - Love Notes stamp set.

With an A2 panel, I blended a cloud stencil with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide. With another A2 panel, I die cut out a grass piece using a die I had in my stash. I then ink blended this piece with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides.

I then took an alphabet die set that I had in my stash and die cut out the phrase "love you" from blue cardstock.
I adhered my grass piece onto my background with liquid adhesive. I then adhered the image onto my background using foam tape.
With liquid adhesive, I adhered the sentiment onto my card. I wanted to separate the words, so I took a heart paper punch and punched out a heart from red cardstock. I then adhered it in the middle.
