Love Birds Card Inspiration with Shilo Miles

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Shilo Miles and this soft, beautiful love birds card featuring our Lemons & Daisies 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack and Love is in the Air 4x6 Stamp Set. We love how Shilo combined the sweet birdhouse and love birds with delicate floral paper and soft layered details. This project is such a lovely example of how patterned paper, stamped images, and gentle embellishments can come together to create a handmade card full of charm.

Hi everyone! This is Shilo! Today’s card is featuring the Love is in the Air stamp set from Crafty Stamp Co. ‘Tis the season….wedding season, that is! I also did a bit of mixing and matching with the paper packs on my card – I used both Summer Lemons & Daisies and Spring is in the Air.

I made a mini scene with the love birds on the branch sitting above their little birdhouse. 

The embossed cloud background gives the idea that they are high in the sky. My images where colored in using my Copic markers, and a dab of glitter glue. I layered with these pretty pink papers, stitching, a floral trim, and lots of foam tape. A sweet card for a newlywed couple.
