Hey Pumpkin Card Inspiration with Shilo Miles

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Shilo Miles and this warm, colorful fall critter card featuring our Fall Pumpkin Patch Critters 4x6 Stamp Set, retired Puzzle Piece 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack, and Autumn Breeze 6x6 Stencil.

We love how Shilo pulled the rich colors from the patterned paper into her stamped scene for a beautifully coordinated fall design. This project is such a fun example of how patterned paper colors, stenciled texture, and sweet stamped images can come together to create a handmade card full of autumn charm.

Hello lovelies! This is Shilo!  Today’s card features the Pumpkin Patch Critters Stamp Set with the Perfect Piece Paper Pack from Crafty Stamp Co. I love the rich tones in this pattern paper and thought it would pair perfectly with fall's vibrant colors. These critters look ready for it, don't you think?

I used masking when I stamped these critters out. I wanted them to be all cozied up together. I then colored them using my Copic markers....matching their scarves to the bold colors of the pattern paper.

To create my background paper, I used a stencil and some paste in my stash. This one has more of a glossy finish when it dries which allowed me to add some watercolor to the background with a resist look. I then assembled my card with lots of foam tape! Of course, I also needed to add some colorful leaves to finish off the whole look.
