Hello Crafty Friends, DT Randy here and welcome back to the blog. I am still working on Holiday cards but slowly getting closer to finishing them, in time to mail them out. The latest release included the super festive 'Here Comes Santa' stamp set and I wanted to create a fun scene with this set.

I wanted to tell a story that Santa was on his way to hand out presents, and he finally arrives, heading down the chimney.

I first stamped out my images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then fussy cut them out and set them to the side.

I had a film strip die set in my stash and die cut it out of black cardstock. I then trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to fit behind the diecut. I blended this piece with Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides. I then splattered this piece with white watercolor.

For the middle section, I heat embossed the two sentiments onto the panel using embossing ink and white embossing powder.

I then adhered the diecut and the panel together using liquid adhesive. I completed the card by adding my two images on either side of the sentiment, with liquid adhesive, to complete the story.
