Hare In Your Cake with Deborah

Hello all, Crafty Crew Member Deborah Hellman here to share with you my super cute birthday card using the Hare in Your Cake and the Watercolor Birthday Patterned Paper Pack from Crafty Stamp Co. The Hare in Your Cake Stamp Set includes six adorable bunnies and four sentiment options.

For this card, I first selected my patterned paper and then coordinated my cardstock and marker colors to the paper. I just love the colors and patterns in the Watercolor Birthday Patterned Paper Pack. The pastel combinations are just beautiful.  Next, I stamped and fussy cut the sweet bunnies and sentiment.  Then, I die-cut the sentiment banners and vertical components of my card. I like to keep my color palette simple and to repeat colors on the card, so I repeated the pinks, blues, and purples with a few additional neutrals.

After coloring my sweet bunnies with alcohol ink markers and arranging all of my components on my card to make sure I liked the layout before gluing, I decided it needed a few embellishments. I added just a few colored sequins to give my card a little sparkle. Adding little details help to make your card special and unique. Then, I simply glued everything and added a little foam adhesive under my bunnies for or a little added dimension.
