Happy Easter Card Inspiration with Positive Tate – A Little Egg-stra by Shilo Miles
Today we’re rolling out the crafty red carpet for Shilo Miles and this absolutely gorgeous Easter card featuring Positive Tate – A Little Egg-stra! From the sweet little scene to the layered patterned papers, soft sky background, and cheerful pop of orange, this card is full of handmade charm.
Shilo paired the Positive Tate – A Little Egg-stra Stamp Set with the Let’s Go Campin’ and For the Gentlemen Pattern Paper Pads in such a fun and unexpected way, proving once again how beautifully patterned papers can stretch across seasons and themes. And of course, we are loving those signature little stitched details from her sewing machine that always add the perfect finishing touch.
Here’s what Shilo had to say about her beautiful creation:
Hi everyone! This is Shilo and I’m super excited to be here on this lovely Wednesday and I’m so glad you’re here too. Today’s card was made using the Positive Tate – A Little Egg-stra Stamp Set.

Easter is around the corner…so it’s time to get making those cards!
I started my card by coloring Tate and his “accessories” with my Copic markers. The basket with the eggs is part of another image but after I stamped it out, I just trimmed off the basket part. That way I could use it on its own - don’t be afraid to get creative with your stamps. I then fussy cut out all the images and added some glitter glue to my eggies….Easter eggs are the perfect excuse to add glitter, just sayin’!
I knew I wanted to create a little scene for this card…so I looked at my pattern paper and discovered these trees from the Goin’ Camping Paper Pack. They were perfect to add that little extra I needed. I created my “sky” by ink-blending a small rectangle panel then attached all my images. I finished off the little scene with a cloud and my sentiment. And a little heart (you’ll see this a lot from me – I can’t help it…everything needs little hearts in my mind)
While I was looking through all my pattern paper I found this fun orange and blue chevron and realized it was a perfect color match for my carrots. And I also loved the idea that it wasn’t a typical Easter color scheme. I paired it with the grey stripe – both from the For the Gentlemen paper pack. I really love my little scene and how this card turned out…

What do you think? Do the non-traditional colors work? Do you use your paper this way…or stick to the typical themes?
