Going Batty for a Birthday
Hello Crafty Friends, DT Randy here and welcome back to the blog. Tomorrow is finally Halloween. Are you excited?! I have been using these adorable bats for Halloween Cards but I always wanted to show that they are perfect for birthday cards as well!

I first stamped out my image and fussy cut it out. I then used Copic Markers to the color the cute image of the bat lying on the broom.
For my background, I took an A2 panel and the moon layering stencil I had in my stash and first blended around the first stencil with Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves and Villainous Potion Distress Oxides.

I then removed the first stencil and blended on the second stencil with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.
I took then took a second stencil from my stash that had silhouettes of plants. I blended it near the bottom of the panel using Black Soot Distress Oxides.
I then took white what color and splattered it over the top portion of the panel. With the sentiment, I stamped it directly onto my panel using black ink.

To complete my card, I added the bat onto the panel using foam tape.
I love that you can stretch these images and use them for any occasion. Check out this set and so many other birthday sets in the Crafty Stamp Co. shop here. Happy Crafting!
