"Fun In The Sun" Beach Babes with Randy
Hi crafty friends, welcome back to the blog. Today and I am sharing a card I created with another stamp set that was one of the first sets released by Crafty Stamp Co. The Beach Babes stamp set features these 2 adorable friends, ready to enjoy some fun in the sun.
I first stamped out my images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then fussy cut the, out and set them to the side to work on my background.
I took an A2 panel and die cut out a wave piece and a hill piece with 2 dies that I had in my stash.
For the wave piece, I blended it with Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides. For the sand piece, I blended it with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Oxides. I then splattered both pieces with white watercolor and the sand piece with some brown watercolor.
I took another A2 panel and blended on Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide with a cloud stencil I had in my stash.
Before I adhered the pieces onto my background, I heat embossed the sentiment directly onto the sand piece using embossing ink and white embossing powder.
I adhered all the background pieces together using liquid adhesive and then added my 2 friends using foam tape.
