End the Summer with Positive Tate
Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here and welcome back to the blog. With school starting back up soon and the summer coming to an end, I wanted to create one last card to wrap up this sunny season that went by way too fast.

I love the image of Positive Tate just relaxing in his tube float and wanted to create a scene around it.
I stamped the image out from the Positive Tate's Ocean Adventures stamp set and used Copic Markers to color it. I then fussy cut the image out and set it to the side to work on the background.

I took an A2 panel and blended the top portion with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide. I then took the Rays of the Sun stencil and blended it with Fossilized Ember.
I then took another A2 panel and die cut out 2 hill pieces using a die from my stash. I blended Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides onto both piece.
Once I let the blended ocean pieces dry, I took white watercolor and splattered it across both pieces.

On the bottom ocean piece, I heat embossed the sentiment directly onto it using embossing ink and white embossing powder.
I assembled my card and adhered my pieces using liquid adhesive.
Are you ready for summer to end and fall to begin? Enjoy the rest of the summer with these fun sets and so many more in the Crafty Stamp Co. store. Happy crafting!
