Down on the Farm: A Sweet Country Card by Deborah

Down on the Farm: A Sweet Country Card by Deborah

Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Deborah and this charming farm-inspired card! Featuring the Meadow n’er Heifers Stamp Set and Ma Heifers 6x6 Patterned Paper Pack, this design beautifully blends soft country colors, layered patterns, and a sweet focal image to create a warm, storybook-style card. From the gingham background to the layered papers and delicate florals, every detail adds to the cozy, farmhouse feel.

Here’s what Deborah created for us!

Hi everyone! Deborah here and I’m excited to share with you my card that I created using the Meadow n'er Heifers Stamp Set and the Ma Heifers 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad. This set is perfect for making some fun Summer cards!

I really enjoyed working with the Meadow n'er Heifers Stamp Set. This set also includes two of her cow friends and two sentiment options. The papers in the Ma Heifers 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad complement this set beautifully with lots of fun options.
After stamping and cutting out my image on white cardstock, I selected my cardstock. I opted for a red, blue, green, and beige color palette. Once I had my paper colors, I colored my Meadow image using alcohol ink markers, making sure to select colors that matched my papers.
A2 card layer dimensions:
Base red layer - 4¼" x 5½"
Green plaid layer - 4" x 5¼"
Cow print rectangle - 2¼" x 4¼"
Light blue rectangle - 2¼" x 4¼"
Beige oval - 2¾" x 4"
10" piece of white organza ribbon
After cutting and laying the layers out, I decided that I needed to add a few cardstock flowers for interest and opted not to add a sentiment to the front. I didn't want to distract the viewer's eye from the beautiful Meadow focal image.
I hope you enjoyed learning about my card as much as I enjoyed making it.
