Don’t Be Such a Guppy with Flounderin Around Meadow

We are rolling out the Crafty Crew red carpet today for Danni Bindel and this fin-tastic mermaid card! Danni featured our Flounderin Around Meadow Stamp Set, Mermaid Dreams 6x6 Paper Pack, and Bubble Wreath Die to create a sweet underwater scene full of playful layers, soft ocean colors, sparkly bubble details, and one adorable Meadow mermaid. This card is cheerful, whimsical, and perfect for sharing a little crafty encouragement.

Hello crafty friends, Danni here today with a fun mermaid card for MerMay, which is one of my favorite months, as I adore mermaids.

Did you see that Crafty Stamp Co. has added a mermaid section? It makes it so easy to find all the mermaid-themed items!!

For my card today I am using the Flounderin' Around Meadow stamp set and the Mermaid Dreams 6x6 paper pad. That paper pad has the dreamiest colors!!

My card today went together so quickly and easily with just one piece of the Mermaid Dreams paper for the background, and then adding the Bubble Wreath Die in the purple sparkle paper from the Mermaid Dreams for some interest.

The final step was to add the stamped/Copic colored images.  I think one of the reasons I love creating with mermaids is because there's no rules on how their tails can be colored! You just do whatever you want, which in this case was just a base layer of purple with blue, purple and white dots.

I adore how this turned out and can't wait to create with more of the Crafty Stamp Co. mermaids!
