Cookies to Bake with Laurel Seabrook
Today we’re rolling out the red carpet for Laurel Seabrook and this sweet, cozy baking card featuring our Patissier Meadow 4x6 Stamp Set and Sugar & Spice 6x6 Pattern Paper Pack.
We love how Laurel paired the adorable baker Meadow image with warm patterned paper layers, soft texture, and a playful cookie-themed sentiment. This project is such a fun example of how stamped images, patterned paper, and cozy kitchen-inspired details can come together to create a handmade card full of sweetness.
Here’s what Laurel had to say about the project.

I used a scallop punch to create the scallop borders and a napkin die (an oldie from my stash), which I think adds a nice feminine touch. I stitched them all on to add some interest and texture.
Cute story... when my granddaughter was little (around 2 years old), I bought her the sweetest little baking set—an apron, chef's hat, and oven mitts. Every time we baked together, she proudly put them on. She wore that little set until she outgrew it.

When she was about 7, her auntie gave her a new baking set (which she purchased in Prague!), and that became her go-to. Now she's almost 12, and whenever she bakes at my house (all on her own now! 🥹), she simply reaches for my apron.
No chef's hat anymore though... 😂 I think it's one of those little traditions that quietly grew up with her.

Do you bake with kids/grandkids this is the perfect stamp and paper combo for making cards, tags etc - especially if giving a baked gift!
