Clean and Simple Card with Narwhals

Clean and Simple Card with Narwhals

Hello crafty friends, welcome back to the blog. Narwhals have to be one of my favorite creatures, right there next to penguins of course. I wanted to create a clean and simple card for these adorable narwhals featured in the Rare & Extraordinary stamp set from Crafty Stamp Co.

I first stamped out the images and then used Copic Markers to color the narwhals. I then fussy cut them out and set them to the side.

To create my background, I took an A2 Panel and I tore a piece of low tack tape in half, lengthwise. I tapped it down with the jagged edge facing toward the side I was going to blend the inks.
I then blended Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feather Distress Oxides onto the panel. I then took the Pool Water stencil and blended Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides over the blended portion.

I then stamped on the sentiment onto the blank side with black ink. To complete my card, I adhered the narwhals using foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple tutorial today. All the products I used today are linked above and can be purchased in the Crafty Stamp Co. shop. Happy Crafting!
