Ciao, Adventure! with Deborah’s Bright Travel-Themed Card

Today on the Crafty Stamp Co. blog, we are heading off on another beautiful little adventure with Deborah Hellman! Deborah created this eye-catching card featuring the Ciao, Adventure! 4x6 Stamp Set and Adventure Awaits 6x6 Pattern Paper, and we are loving every cheerful detail.

From the bold scooter and beautifully colored image to the layered travel-themed background, this card feels playful, fresh, and ready for a fun journey. We especially love how the bright colors and sweet little floral accents bring this whole design to life.

Hi everyone! Deborah here and I’m excited to share with you my card that I created using the May Crafty Crew Kit. This kit is available now for pre-order and will ship on May 5th. 

This kit includes:
Two 4x6 stamp sets and matching SVG files
6x6 Patterned Paper Pad
6x6 Stencil

I really enjoyed working with the Ciao, Adventure! Stamp Set. The fun Meadow character enjoying an adventure while riding on her Vespa.... What's not to love!?!

For this card, I was inspired by the Crafty Stamp Co April Sketch Challenge (shown below) and decided to use it for my card layout.

 

After stamping and cutting out my images and sentiment on white cardstock, I selected my cardstock.

I created an A2 card with these layers:
Base coral layer - 4¼" x 5½"
2nd patterned layer - 3½" x 4¼"
Solid blue strip - 1¼" x 5"
Circle - 3¼" diameter circle 

After cutting and laying the layers out, I decided that I needed some additional black cardstock layers for contrast to help separate the papers visually.

Additional Black cardstock layers:
4½" x 3¾"
Circle - 3¼" diameter circle

 

Once everything was colored, I attached my layers, images, and sentiment to my A2 card base. I like to use dimensional adhesive tape to elevate and add a little interest to my focal images. In addition, I added a few enamel dots to match the monthly sketch.
