Christmas Cookie Gnomies & Crafty Cuts
For the male gnome, I used the
Christmas Snow Paper pack. You'll also need a ribbon for the tag, I cut my ribbon 12 inches each.
Grab your favorite tag dies set, pictured here is the
Torn Edges Nesting Tag Dies from Scrappy Boy Stamps. I used the second to the smallest die, and the third smallest die in the set.
Die cut two tags using the larger die of the two, one of the large tags will need to have a hole, for my tag I used the largest hole die in the die set.
Then die cut a small tag using the smallest of the two dies. Select a subtle paper from the paper pack so that the sentiment will be easy to read.
Next, using your adhesive of choice, adhere the small tag to the larger tag (that doesn't have a hole). Use the larger die of the two to die cut the center of the tag. See the picture above for the die placement.
Adhere the die cut to the large tag with a hole.
Adhere the colored Gnome images from the
Christmas Cookie Gnomies Clear Stamp Set, and stamp the sentiment of your choice. Oops! I accidentally turned my center die cut piece and adhered it, but hey, it still works right? :P
As shown in the picture above, loop in the ribbon ends first through the hole from the back side of the tag.
Then pull the ends of the ribbon through the loop. Trim off the ends at an angle, and heat seal the ends to keep the ribbon from fraying.
And there you have it, an easy peasy Christmas tag! You can use ribbon to tie the tag around a gift bag, or you can adhere the tag to a gift box.
