Celebrate a Birthday with Adorable Turtles
Hello crafty friends, welcome back to the blog. One of the sets that I have been wanting to come back to recently is the 'At Ease' stamp set that features the most adorable turtles I have ever seen. I wanted to create a sweet birthday card with them.
I first stamped out the images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then fussy cut them out and set them to the side to work on the background.
On an A2 panel, I die cut out two circles using a circle die that I had in my stash. I then blended this piece with Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides. I then splattered this piece with white watercolor.

On a second A2 panel, I blended Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxides where the circles were going to be shown and splattered white watercolor over this piece as well.
I then die cut out a sea scene piece using a die I had in my stash. I blended this piece with Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Oxides. I then splattered the bottom portion with brown and white watercolor.
For the sentiments, I heat embossed the two sentiments onto the front panel using embossing ink and white embossing powder.

To assemble my card, I adhered the 2 panels using liquid adhesive. I then added the sea scene and the sleeping turtle using liquid adhesive. I completed the card by adding the remaining two turtles into the circles using foam tape.
Have you created a scene with this 'At Ease' stamp set yet? You can find this set and so many other cute sets in the Crafty Stamp Co. shop here. Happy Crafting!
