Card Tutorial | Here Comes Santa with Deborah
Hi everyone! This is Deborah and I’m excited to share my Here Comes Santa project with you today!

For this card, first, I stamped and colored this sweet Santa in his sleigh using alcohol ink markers. He's an adorable character and easy to color. There are two Santa stamps and 8 sentiments in the Here Comes Santa Stamp Set.

Next, I found a piece of light blue cardstock in my box of leftover cardstock to use as my sky. Since the bottom will be covered with a piece of white cardstock, the cutout portion will be hidden. I also repurpose some of my shipping boxes as spatter boxes. They are a great way to minimize the mess and I can spatter quite a few projects with just one box. I like to use Dr. Martin's Bleed Proof White with a few drops of water and a fan brush, that way I get a fine spatter and good coverage. You could also use any opaque white acrylic or watercolor paint. When you are done, just set it aside and let it air dry.

Then, I die-cut 3 Evergreen Trees and a snowy foreground from some white cardstock, stamped and die-cut two of the sentiments from the stamp set, and added a hint of color to the pieces using a light ink blending technique. Hint- I normally don't need to add more ink to the brushes, there is usually enough residual ink on my blending brushes for a light blending.

Next, I added some foam adhesive to my sentiments and Santa and then positioned all of my pieces on an A2 card base before gluing and trimming.
