Bee-lieve in Yourself with Buzzy Bee Meadow
We are rolling out the Crafty Crew red carpet today for this bee-autiful card by Randy Nguyen! Randy created the sweetest honeycomb-inspired scene featuring our Buzzy Bee Meadow Stamp Set and Honeycomb Stencil, complete with soft yellow ink blending, adorable bee friends, and a bold embossed sentiment that makes the whole design pop.
Here’s what Randy had to say about his project:
Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, and welcome back to the blog. Today, I am sharing another card I created using the new bee-inspired sets from Crafty Stamp Co. I wanted to create a card centered around Bee Meadow and her super cute bee friends.

I first stamped out my images from the Buzzy Bee Meadow Stamp Set and colored them using Copic Markers. Once the coloring was finished, I fussy cut the images so they would be ready to layer onto my card front.
For the background, I started with an A2 panel and used the Honeycomb Stencil to create a bright, cheerful pattern. I ink blended through the stencil with Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides, giving the panel a warm honeycomb look that was perfect for the bee theme.

To add a little extra texture and movement, I splattered the background with white watercolor. This helped soften the ink blending and gave the whole card a playful, handmade feel.
For the sentiment, I die cut a hexagon from black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The black hexagon really helps the sentiment stand out against the bright yellow background.

To assemble the card, I adhered the colored images onto the honeycomb background using foam tape for dimension. Then I adhered the sentiment hexagon with liquid adhesive to finish the design.
