Be Fursome Mini Slimline Superhero Card

Hey hey heeeeey, crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a bold and playful mini slimline card featuring the Be Fursome 4x6 Stamp Set and the Super Stuff Pattern Paper. This little superhero pup is ready to save the day, and I wanted the whole card to feel bright, comic-book inspired, and full of fun.

 

For this card, I created a 3.5" x 7" mini slimline design, which gave me the perfect long layout for the city skyline background and that big “BE FURSOME” greeting across the front. The Super Stuff Pattern Paper was such a fun fit for this card because the black-and-white city scene instantly gave it that superhero comic feel.

 

 

I used my Silhouette to cut out the letters and the card elements from SVG files I created myself. I love being able to build extra details this way because it lets me customize the card exactly how I imagine it. The banner layers, bold letters, and extra shapes helped give the card a more finished, action-packed look.

 

One of my favorite parts of this card is the dimension. Each letter in “BE FURSOME” is popped up with very small pieces of 3D foam, and while that took a little bit of patience, it was so worth it. The raised letters add so much movement and make the sentiment feel like it is jumping right off the skyline.

I also popped up the superhero pup and layered him over bright red and yellow pieces to help him stand out from the background. The blue cape ties in with the blue shadow behind the letters, and the red, yellow, and aqua accents keep everything feeling cheerful and energetic.

This card would be such a fun choice for a birthday card, encouragement card, kid’s card, pet lover card, or just a happy little “you’re awesome” kind of card. I love when a card feels playful but still has enough layers and texture to make it feel extra special.

I love how this little superhero pup card turned out. Between the city skyline, popped-up letters, bright colors, and handmade SVG elements, it feels full of crafty superhero energy — and honestly, who doesn’t need a little reminder to be fursome?
