Accordion Step Superhero Card Featuring He’s Super and Be Fursome
Hi crafty friends! Meadow here, and today I’m sharing a fun accordion step style card featuring the He’s Super 4x6 Stamp Set, Be Fursome 4x6 Stamp Set, and Super Stuff 6x6 Pattern Paper.
I thought this card style would be perfect for a superhero-themed project because it gives you different levels to decorate and lets the images pop up in a really fun way. I used the superhero boy from He’s Super on the back step and the little superhero pup from Be Fursome on the front layer so they look like they are both ready to save the day.
For the background, I used the Super Stuff 6x6 Pattern Paper. I love the comic-style speech bubbles because they work so well with the superhero theme, but since the paper is black and white, the colored images and bright cardstock layers really stand out.
I used green cardstock as the main accent color throughout the card, then added red and blue details with the characters, ribbon, and sequins. The colors help everything feel bright and playful without taking away from the stamped images.
The accordion step card design also gave me space to add two sentiments. I used “Best Dad Ever” on the back section with the superhero boy, and “You’re Pawfect!” on the front section with the superhero pup. I thought those worked so well together for a sweet dad-themed card, especially for someone who loves pets too.
I also love how this style of card has so much dimension but still folds down nicely. The different steps make the card feel interactive and special, and it was a fun way to combine both stamp sets on one project.
This would be a great card for Father’s Day, a birthday, or just to remind someone that they are pretty super.
